All cakes forks are antique and sourced here in the UK, with some pieces dating back as far as the 1920's. As you would expect, evidence of the cutlery's previous life and age may be visible & the silver plate will naturally tarnish, but a little polish every now and again will keep them shiney! Marks made during the hammering process are expected and spacing & alignment of letters are not exact. It all adds to the whimsical and charming look that makes your commissioned piece of cutlery so unique.
